SteelTrade is built around one simple journey, whether you're buying or selling:

FOR BUYERS

1. Search the marketplace. Use the search bar or browse Latest Steel Opportunities to find stock offers from sellers worldwide. Filter by product, grade, dimensions, origin, and region.

2. Review the offer. Every listing shows the details that matter — grade, standard, size, quantity, and location. Company identity stays protected until you're a member, keeping the marketplace free of spam and data scraping.

3. Become a member. One membership unlocks everything: view company details, contact sellers directly, and open Deal Rooms. There are no separate buyer and seller plans.

4. Send an inquiry. Found the right material? Send an inquiry and a private Deal Room opens automatically.

5. Negotiate in the Deal Room. Chat in real time, receive the seller's quotation, exchange documents, and agree on terms — all in one secure place.

6. Confirm the deal. Once both sides accept, the deal is confirmed and recorded. Payment and delivery happen directly between you and the seller.

You can also post a Buy Requirement describing exactly what you need, and let sellers come to you with offers.

FOR SELLERS

1. Join and create your company. Register, set up your company profile, and add the products you trade.

2. Become a member. Membership lets you post unlimited stock, respond to buy requirements, contact buyers, and use Deal Rooms.

3. Post your steel. Create a listing with grade, dimensions, quantity, origin, and photos. Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live — quality control that keeps the marketplace trustworthy.

4. Receive inquiries. Interested buyers contact you through a private Deal Room. You get notified instantly.

5. Quote and negotiate. Send a formal quotation, answer questions, and share documents in the Deal Room chat.

6. Close the deal. Confirm the agreement and complete the transaction directly with the buyer. SteelTrade never takes a commission on your sales.

DEAL ROOMS — THE HEART OF STEELTRADE

Every inquiry creates a Deal Room: a private, shared workspace for the two companies. Inside you'll find real-time chat, formal quotations with full price breakdowns, a document vault for mill certificates and contracts, and a one-click deal confirmation. Everything is recorded, so both sides always have a clear audit trail.

MEMBERSHIP & VERIFICATION — TWO SEPARATE THINGS

Membership is a paid subscription that unlocks the marketplace's features. Verification is an independent review of your company's identity and legitimacy, shown as a badge on your profile. Paying for membership never grants verification, and verification alone does not unlock member features. We keep them separate so buyers can trust what each badge means.
